Matzah without the crunch
I want fresh, soft matzah served daily in Pesach! Why do the Yemenites get all the fun?
It is clear that biblical matzah isn’t in fact referring to our crisp (if sealed i the factory), indigestible, bubbly sheets:
- Hillel used to wrap up (כורך) lamb inside his (think shawarma)
- On all other nights we eat leavened bread or matzah, but who really eats matzah on a meal throughout the year? Something a bit more like a roti I can understand.
- And God demands the stuff. Solomon’s did a pretty good job this year, but is their matzah really worthy of God?
Someone who likes the smell of charred flesh (was the intestine removed incidentally?) has a slightly different taste in food to me and you!

of all manners in which the intestine could be removed, why would it be removed incidentally?

Haha — now, I’ll have to make sure I use commas in a more standard way.
Looking it up the intestines seem to be washed for animal sacrifices and removed altogether for birds — so I guess the smell wouldn’t have been as bad as I thought.
