Hi,
It’s Mum on Sim’s computer at the end of Shabat Ha Gadol. Warm sun, cool windy day. I can’t go on with Pesach cleaning yet bu t can read your blog, by my rules. Sim and Shimrit at Lior Kogus’s for lunch.
I’ve caught up on your blog, going back to Quebec Winter Festival. Haven’t looked at all the photos, though. I know the comments are meant to be on the entried they belong to but…
Who did the orange peel writing?
Enjoyed the dissertation on hamantaschen.
I think I should make the effort to speak to you before Pesach; if I don’t make the time, it’ll be in chol hamoed. Good luck with the seder. But I think there’s a good chance you won’t read this before the chag.

The butter in the picture looks slightly melted, of course that could be an illusion.

Also, not all Australians love Vegemite (which is produced by an American company)

the trick is the butter, not the vegemite.
obviously if your butter has been sitting outdoors during a montreal winter your bread’s not going to be too appreciative…
